The KOENG AIMPOINT MICRO LEUPOLD ADAPTER (PN 01-006) is the first of our Piggyback Sight Solutions and was originally designed for professional use to help create a jack of many trades setup. A setup that needs to be ambidextrous, low profile, and streamlined to minimize snag hazards.
Our design allows an Aimpoint Micro compatible sight to be mounted on a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Ring Top Mount Kit at 12 o’clock position. This creates an enclosed piggyback sight solution that is both rugged and impervious. With an Aimpoint T1 / T2 mounted without an additional spacer, the aiming dot height is approximately 3-1/8″, allowing for a more upright posture and passive aiming via a night vision device. This adds close work capability to a rig equipped with a Leupold MK5 3.6-18X44 or MK6 3-18X44 without adding too much weight and profile. The piggyback sight can also be used to help get on target faster, when the scope is in a higher magnification with narrower field of view.
For scopes with a taller elevation turret, there is also a 0.248″ or 6.30 mm spacer (PN 01-010) for creating additional clearance.
